I have to admit my linksys router almost went in the trash. With constant lockups and unusual problems with ppoe just wasnt cutting it anymore. Until I found this website. After Following the instructions on the website I had a fully working linux distro running on my router. No more crazy issues with lockups Dyndns runs great havent lost my IP yet. and the Xmit hack to boost the output of the wireless signal has really changed how well my house is covered. I have the wrt54g ver 6 which has the smaller memory but even with the mini firmware running it is rock solid. Im even hosting a website through this box. Handles traffic very well and it gives you much better info on what clients are connected what their signal strength is, and a host of other options. Check out there site. Take caution once you do this you cant go back easily, and there is a risk at bricking your router. So I take no responsibility if you do in fact brick your router.
