Okay so this post goes along with all the free TV and ideas I have been looking for. How important is TV to me. Could I live without TV at all. No shows. Let me take you back a couple of months when we found out that again this spring we were without TV. At first it really upset me. I tried other options then including the sling box. Which I will review later this week. To no avail I had no other options except through the internet. I only liked watching a couple of shows. Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, Ghost Hunters and Good eats is what I had Tviod. I found I didn’t watch live tv until it came to bed time. Then it was on National Geographic or Discovery channel only for about a half hour, most of which was commercials and promotions for other TV shows. I found TED. Ted is an excellent alternative. Then came the problem no live TV. It actually doesn’t bother me. I found Joost. It has National Geographic channels there. I’m set no need for cable or Dish. I said before my savings were around $720.00 a year and no commercials to deal with. I’m posing a question to all of you. If you woke up today with no TV or any means to get it. How much would it bother you? How dependent are you on TV and what couldn’t you live without? I’m just wondering how much TV people are watching now.
