Liberation Fonts on Ubuntu!

New fonts. Well, not new ones, but even though I don’t like Fedora, I’ve always loved their screen fonts. I put this how-to together on the steps I had to go through to install the fonts.

1. Download Fonts (Get the tar.gz file not the RPM)

2. Then untar them to /.fonts for your account or /usr/share/fonts for a global install

That’s all the install we need.

3. Now goto system and appearance

4. Click fonts and then change each item from Sans to Liberation Sans

That’s it enjoy your fedora fonts on Ubuntu
